Chrome Extension Privacy Policy

Context Sender is designed to help users generate and copy/download structured summaries from supported pages (such as GitHub pull requests, GitLab merge requests, and Jira tickets).

2. Information We Access

To provide its functionality, Context Sender may access content visible on supported web pages, including:

  • Page text/content needed to create summaries.
  • Page URLs and metadata relevant to PR/MR/ticket context.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

Context Sender does not collect, store, or sell personal data on Mauro Apps LLC servers.

Specifically, we do not collect or retain:

  • Account passwords or authentication credentials.
  • Financial/payment information.
  • Health information.
  • Personal communications.
  • Precise location data.
  • Browsing history beyond what is needed in-the-moment for extension functionality.

4. Clipboard Permission

The extension requests clipboardWrite only so users can copy generated output after explicit user action (for example, clicking a copy button). Context Sender does not read clipboard contents.

5. How Data Is Used

Data accessed by the extension is used solely to:

  • Detect supported pages.
  • Generate structured output from the current page.
  • Let the user copy or download that output.

Data is used only for this single purpose and not for unrelated purposes.

6. Data Sharing and Selling

Mauro Apps LLC does not sell user data.

Mauro Apps LLC does not share user data with third parties, except if required by law.

7. Remote Code

Context Sender does not execute remotely hosted code. Extension code is packaged and distributed through the Chrome Web Store package.

8. Data Retention

Context Sender is intended to operate with minimal retention. Any processed page content is handled for immediate functionality and is not stored by Mauro Apps LLC as a user dataset.

9. Security

We take reasonable steps to keep the extension and distribution process secure and to minimize data access to only what is necessary for the extension to function.

10. Children's Privacy

Context Sender is not directed to children under 13, and Mauro Apps LLC does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date.
